Bradford County, PA—Laurel Health is excited to announce that Beth Geiger, certified registered family nurse practitioner (FNP-C, DNP), has joined the brand-new Towanda Laurel Health Center, located at 410 Main St., Suites 101-104, in Towanda, PA.

Geiger brings over 15 years of nursing expertise to the team with a passion for women’s health and wellness care. She enjoys helping patients build sustainable healthy habits. Her clinical background includes emergency medicine, acute inpatient care, family medicine, and long-term care, all of which have provided her in-depth experience treating a wide variety of healthcare needs in patients of all ages.

I grew up in the country and provided nursing care in rural regions for many years because I enjoy the familiarity that can be fostered in rural healthcare with both patients and co-workers,” Geiger shares. “Health and wellness have a substantial impact on our lives, and I enjoy working together with my patients to develop and maintain realistic healthy habits that will improve their quality of life.

She received her Bachelor of Science (BSN) in Nursing and her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Family Medicine from Liberty University in Virginia. The DNP degree is the highest level of education for nurse practitioners and is designed to cultivate nursing leaders who collaborate with their teams on patient care strategies and policies.

Prior to joining Laurel Health, Geiger worked with the Bradford Ecumenical Home, Cole Memorial Hospital, and Robert Packer Hospital’s Sayre and Towanda campuses.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, baking, reading, exploring the outdoors, and staying active.

Geiger provides comprehensive family medicine, women's health, acute care, chronic condition management, and preventive wellness services. She is currently accepting new patients of all ages at the Towanda Laurel Health Center, which is open from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday.
